Bhubaneswar: A dispute between Brahaman Nijog and other Nijogs once again disrupted the rituals at the Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday. According to reports, dispute over a land in the name of Lord Lingaraj is said to be the root cause of the dispute.
It was alleged that during the construction, the construction work of the house was stopped due to other various challenges.
The Puja Panda and the Brahmin Niyog are adamant in stopping the Niti Kanti (rituals) pointing out that there is a big conspiracy behind it.
On the other hand due to the land dispute in Lingaraj temple and non-arrival of Puja Panda, the rituals after the Mangala Aalati have been stopped. In this regard, it has been reported that the Lingaraj temple worship authority will inform the ADM today.
