Sonepur: Vigilance officials arrested a revenue supervisor of Biramaharajpur Tehsil in Sonepur district on the charges of receiving bribe of Rs 10,000 to settle a mutation case.
The accused Revenue supervisor has been identified as Nabendra Mahakud.
Reportedly, vigilance personnel laid a trap and caught Meher red-handed while taking bribe from one Babaji Charan Sahu, an ex-revenue inspector, to fix a mutation case.
The cops also recovered the bribe money from his possession.
