In metro cities, multiplexes have implemented blockbuster pricing for premium seats, with rates exceeding ₹2,000, while single-screen cinemas have also increased their prices, some charging up to ₹700 for recliner seats. The trend showcases the immense anticipation surrounding the film, directed by A.R. Murugadoss and starring Rashmika Mandanna alongside Khan. Maharashtra and Delhi have emerged as the strongest markets for Sikandar, contributing significantly to its impressive advance box office collections.
Despite the excitement, industry experts are divided on whether these soaring ticket prices might deter audiences in certain demographics. Nevertheless, screenings in Delhi-NCR are already seeing sellouts, signaling that Salman Khan’s Eid release is set to become a box office phenomenon.
