Advance booking for Dhurandhar 2, starring Ranveer Singh, has begun with impressive momentum. The action sequel, directed by Aditya Dhar, has already crossed ₹8 crore in paid premiere bookings, signaling strong audience excitement ahead of its theatrical release.
The film, officially titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge, will release in cinemas on March 19, with special paid premieres scheduled for March 18.
Dhurandhar 2 Sells Over 87,000 Tickets in a Day
Within just 24 hours of opening advance bookings, Dhurandhar 2 sold 87,000+ tickets on the ticketing platform BookMyShow.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh reported that the film initially sold around 7,500 tickets per hour shortly after bookings opened. While the numbers are not the highest ever recorded for a Bollywood release, industry observers describe them as strong early indicators of audience interest.
The momentum is expected to grow as the release date approaches.
Paid Premieres Already Cross ₹8 Crore
According to early trade estimates, Dhurandhar 2 generated ₹4 crore in worldwide advance ticket sales within the first two hours of bookings opening.
Major multiplex chains including PVR Cinemas, INOX Leisure, and Cinepolis India contributed significantly to the early sales. These chains alone accounted for ₹2.5 crore from approximately 35,000 tickets.
Multiplexes have also introduced a premium pricing category called “Super Blockbuster Plus”, with preview ticket prices reaching ₹2,500 in Delhi-NCR.
So far, paid premiere collections stand at ₹8.06 crore, with the Hindi version contributing more than ₹7 crore.
