The President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, presented the National Florence Nightingale Awards for the year 2025 in a grand ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan today.
Instituted by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the prestigious award honours the exceptional service and commitment of nurses across the country.
Addressing the gathering, President Murmu commended the awardees for their dedication, resilience, and compassion in delivering quality healthcare services. She emphasised the indispensable role nurses play in patient care, crisis response, and medical advancements.
