President Droupadi Murmu strongly condemned the recent terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, calling it a “shocking and painful” tragedy.
In a heartfelt message shared on X, the President described the incident as “dastardly and inhuman,” stressing that targeting innocent civilians, especially tourists, is “utterly appalling and unpardonable.”
She extended her condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.
“The terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam of Jammu and Kashmir is shocking and painful. It is a dastardly and inhuman act which must be condemned unequivocally. Attacking innocent citizens, in this case tourists, is utterly appalling and unpardonable,” President Murmu posted.
The attack, which left several tourists injured, has drawn widespread condemnation from across the country.
