Bhubaneswar: Union Minister for Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan expressed his happiness by sharing a photo on social media of President Draupadi Murmu honoring CAG Shri Girish Chandra Murmu on the occasion of ‘Third Audit Day Ceremony’.
Pradhan mentioned that “We as Odias are proud of two worthy children of Odisha, Hon’ble President of India Mrs. Draupadi Murmu and CAG of India Shri Girish Chandra Murmu. This is a great honor for our democracy, tribals and the underprivileged.” The Union Minister said that these two individuals are the unique identity of our existence.
President Droupadi Murmu on Thursday said the Comptroller & Auditor General team, as a facilitator of good governance, would play an important role in making India the third largest economy in the world.
After inaugurating the 3rd Audit Diwas celebrations, Ms. Murmu said under the leadership of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India, Girish Chandra Murmu, the government’s audit community had made significant contributions to strengthening integrity, governance and system building.
