President Droupadi Murmu reached Puri today along with her family, arriving at the Talabania helipad in a special Indian Air Force helicopter.
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi and Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida extended a grand welcome to the President. Several dignitaries, including Pipili MLA Ashrit Pattanayak, Satyabadi MLA Om Prakash Mishra, Brahmagiri MLA Upasana Mahapatra, Puri MLA Sunil Mohanty, District Collector Dibya Jyoti Parida, and SP Prateek Singh, were present to greet her.
From the helipad, the President’s convoy moved through Pentakata Chhak, Chakratirth Road, and Subash Bose Chhak before reaching Puri Lok Bhavan, where she will stay overnight with her family. Security has been tightened around Lok Bhavan with a special protection cordon.
