Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially inaugurate the landmark Bharat Renewable Energy Summit & Expo 2026 on November 2 at approximately 4:30 PM at the iconic Bharat Mandapam complex in New Delhi.
The Prime Minister will deliver the keynote address to a distinguished global audience comprising world leaders, ministers, policymakers, and international investors.
Operating under the overarching theme ‘Invest. Innovate. Inspire.’, the four-day mega-event will run from November 2 to November 5, 2026. Serving as India’s premier platform for sustainable power solutions, the summit builds directly on the legacy of the RE-INVEST series to accelerate the clean energy transition, foster cross-border technology exchanges, and unlock new investment channels.
Global Participation and Strategic Country Partnerships
The summit boasts massive international backing, bringing together delegates from over 130 countries, including more than 40 energy ministers, top-tier institutional investors, financial institutions, and global clean-tech executives.
Nine key international partners—Australia, Denmark, the European Union, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and the United Kingdom—are participating as designated Country Partners. Their involvement underscores a shared global commitment to scaling renewable technologies and establishing resilient clean energy supply chains.
Subnational Potential: 13 States & UTs Take Centre Stage
A major feature of Bharat RE 2026 is the prominent role played by India’s subnational economies. Thirteen States and Union Territories—Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal—will present tailored sessions highlighting their renewable energy potential, regulatory frameworks, investment opportunities, and indigenous manufacturing infrastructure.
These state-level showcases aim to facilitate Business-to-Government (B2G), Business-to-Business (B2B), and Government-to-Government (G2G) engagements, positioning regional hubs as key destinations for green capital and technological deployment.
Triple Powerhouse: ISA Assembly & Green Hydrogen Conference Co-Located
In a major push for international collaboration, Bharat RE 2026 will run concurrently alongside two other major international assemblies at the same venue:
-
The 9th Session of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) Assembly: Focused on advancing international cooperation, solar financing mechanisms, and institutional capacity building across member nations.
-
The 4th International Conference on Green Hydrogen (ICGH): Centred on accelerating green hydrogen production technologies, supply chain scaling, commercialisation, and investment pathways.
Together, this triad of summits forms a comprehensive platform aimed at unifying solar development, green hydrogen adoption, and broader clean-tech investment.
High-Impact Expo and Business Platforms
Alongside high-level ministerial roundtables and CEO dialogues, the event features a sprawling exhibition showcasing more than 400 national and global exhibitors. Visitors and industry stakeholders will explore cutting-edge solutions spanning solar photovoltaics, onshore and offshore wind energy, green hydrogen systems, advanced energy storage technologies (BESS), and smart grid applications.
With its robust mix of policy leadership, subnational participation, and technical innovation, the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit & Expo 2026 is poised to solidify India’s role as a cornerstone of the global net-zero transition.
