Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a high-level meeting with Mr. Cristiano R. Amon, President and CEO of Qualcomm, to discuss India’s rapid strides in artificial intelligence, innovation, and digital skilling.


The meeting underscored Qualcomm’s active support for India’s flagship initiatives—IndiaAI and the Semiconductor Mission.

PM Modi praised Qualcomm’s commitment to building a robust tech ecosystem in India, emphasising the nation’s unmatched talent and scale. Mr Amon echoed this sentiment, outlining Qualcomm’s vision to develop an Indian ecosystem spanning AI-powered smartphones, PCs, smart glasses, automotive, and industrial applications.

The leaders also explored future collaboration in 6G technology, positioning India as a global innovation hub. PM Modi later shared the highlights of the meeting on X, reinforcing India’s readiness to shape the future of technology.
