The ashram is located on the Vrindavan Parikrama Marg near Varaha Ghat. The viral image shows him sitting on the floor among other devotees, dressed in a white shirt, black jacket, and a mask covering his face.
The visit has sparked fresh debate online, with many social media users accusing the music composer of attempting to “whitewash” his image after allegations surfaced that he allegedly cheated on Smriti Mandhana with their wedding choreographer on the night of the Sangeet ceremony.
