Reinforcing its commitment to operational excellence and sustainable growth, the Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) has contributed a dividend of ₹1.17 crore to the Government of Odisha for the Financial Year 2024–25.
Deputy Chief Minister, Women & Child Development, Mission Shakti and Tourism, Pravati Parida, received the cheque from Deepankar Mohapatra, Managing Director, OTDC, in the presence of senior officials of the Corporation. The dividend reflects OTDC’s sustained financial performance and its continued contribution towards the State’s growth and tourism development.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister appreciated OTDC’s consistent efforts towards strengthening Odisha’s tourism infrastructure and service delivery. She emphasised that a financially strong and professionally managed tourism corporation plays a vital role in enhancing visitor experiences, supporting local economies and contributing to the State’s broader tourism vision.
OTDC continues to play a pivotal role in the State’s tourism ecosystem by operating 14 Panthanivas hotel units, authentic Odia cuisine restaurants, and a luxury tourist transport fleet, catering to the diverse needs of domestic and international travellers. The Corporation also operates an Air Ticketing Division to facilitate travel services and has an Engineering Division responsible for the planning, execution, upgradation and maintenance of tourism infrastructure and facilities across Odisha.
Looking ahead, the Corporation has outlined an ambitious roadmap for the next three years with a focus on increasing turnover and profitability through infrastructure upgradation, operational efficiency, diversification of tourism-related services and continuous improvement in service quality across its Panthanivas network and other operational units.
