Bhubaneswar: Odisha witnessed 15.55 per cent growt in gross revenue collection by August end in comparison to last year.
The State collected Rs 36,4559 revenue from various sectors this year against the last year collection of Rs 31548.49.
A secretary level meeting chaired by chief secretary Suresh Mohapatra revealed the revenue collection in the State. Finance secretary Vishal Deb presented data related to revenue collection and budget expenditure.
The chief secretary reviewed status of various projects of different departments and directed secretaries of all departments to make field visit to review under-construction projects of the respective department on regular basis.
