The Department of Tourism, Government of Odisha, in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), is set to host the highly anticipated 6th edition of the Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025 from 24th to 27th February in Bhubaneswar.


This prestigious event, to be held at the Mayfair Convention and Swosti Premium Bhubaneswar, aims to strengthen Odisha’s tourism sector by fostering strategic partnerships and expanding its global footprint.

The inaugural session will feature distinguished dignitaries from the travel and tourism sectors, including, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Minister of Tourism and Culture, Government of India, Smt. Pravati Parida, Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, Samarth Verma, IAS, Director, Department of Tourism, Government of Odisha, JK Mohanty, Co-Chairperson, FICCI Tourism Committee & Lifetime Chairman, HRAO, Balwant Singh, IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Department of Tourism, Government of Odisha, Babu Singh, Member of Legislative Assembly, Ekamra, Manoj Ahuja, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Odisha, Manab Majumdar, Senior Advisor, FICCI.

Other key highlights of the event include the Launch of the Explore Odisha Quiz – Challenge Yourself & Win Competition.

The Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025 is expected to witness participation from approximately 100 Domestic Tour Operators (DTOs) representing over 30 cities across India, along with more than 30 Foreign Tour Operators (FTOs) from 17 countries, including Australia, the UK, Germany, Belgium, South Africa, Spain, and Singapore.

The event will feature over 3,000 pre-scheduled B2B meetings between 70 sellers from Odisha’s tourism sector and both Domestic & Foreign Tour Operators, facilitating meaningful business collaborations. Additionally, B2G meetings and adventure tourism workshops will be integral components of the event.

To provide a firsthand experience of Odisha’s diverse tourism offerings, familiarization trips have been arranged to key destinations, including Bhitarkanika, Raghurajpur, Puri-Konark, and the Diamond Triangle.

A video that is going viral on social media shows Allu Arjun heading towards the entrance of Mumbai Airport. He was seen wearing a white t-shirt and black tracks. During the security check, he presented his ID proof to the security personnel at the entry point, after which the latter asked him to remove his sunglasses and mask, and show his face for verification. The actor was then seen exchanging a few words with the CISF personnel, and a member of his team was also seen talking to the officer. After a brief interaction, Allu Arjun was seen removing his sunglasses, followed by a quick removal of his face mask for identification. He swiftly put the mask back on and was then allowed to proceed inside
