Bhubaneswar: Under the direction of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, the process has been started to fill up 11,403 teaching posts in the state, informed the I&PR Department on Thursday.
Recently, the state government has appointed 6,131 teachers in one day.
The examination and recruitment rules have been amended to ensure that the maximum number of candidates get to chance to be recruited. In addition, another 3,462 teaching posts have been approved in view of the growing number of students.
As the Odisha CM’s directive, the process has now begun to fill the vacancies of 11,403 teachers, including newly sanctioned posts. The recruitment process is expected to be completed by April 2022 and new teachers will be posted in high schools across the state.
