Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Health & Family Welfare Department has issued Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) on preventive measures to be followed in Mental Health Hostels, Short Stay Homes, Orphanages, Child Health Care Homes during COVID-19 Resurgence.
Additional Chief Secretary Health P.K. Mohapatra has written to all Municipal Commissioners, CDMs & PHOs, Director of Mental Health Institute, SCBMCH, Cuttack in this regard.
Keeping in view the directions received from all applicable agencies including Central Government and State Government, an SOP has been prepared for the purpose.
The Health ACS requested the officials to issue necessary instructions to all concerned within their respective jurisdiction to adhere strictly to the SOP.
