The Government of Odisha has entrusted Prafulla Kumar Swain, OAS (SAG), Additional Secretary of the Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell (CMGC), with the additional charge of Director, Public Grievance and Secretary, CMGC, effective June 1, 2026.
The General Administration and Public Grievance Department issued the office order on June 2, 2026 from Bhubaneswar under reference number 17196/Gen. Swain will continue to hold his existing assignments along with the new responsibility until further orders.
Officials said the move is aimed at strengthening grievance redressal mechanisms and ensuring seamless coordination between the CMGC and the Public Grievance Cell.
