Following the massive devastation caused by Cyclone Arnab and subsequent severe flooding, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has assured complete support for the recovery and rebuilding of Ganjam district.

During a high-level review meeting held today at Lok Seva Bhawan, CM Majhi met with key representatives from the affected region, including Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari, Fisheries & ARD Minister Gokulananda Mallik, and several Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) from Ganjam.

The delegation provided the Chief Minister with a detailed account of the extensive damage to property, agriculture, and infrastructure across the district. Responding to their concerns, CM Majhi reassured the delegates that the state government is fully aware of the ground realities. He firmly stated that the people of Ganjam will not be left to face this crisis alone.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister highlighted that the state’s administration has already briefed the visiting Central Team about the widespread destruction. Detailed discussions were held regarding the specific losses suffered by Ganjam, ensuring that the district’s recovery needs are recognised at the national level.

To accelerate the recovery process, CM Majhi issued strict directives to the Revenue Minister to expedite the distribution of comprehensive relief packages to all affected citizens. He also ordered immediate action plans for the swift restoration of critical infrastructure, ensuring that life in Ganjam returns to normal as quickly as possible.

When the customer raised the issue, the restaurant representative reportedly responded dismissively, asking how they could be expected to spot insects inside a cauliflower and stating that nothing could be done.
Despite the complaint, the customer and his friends were required to pay the entire bill. The incident raises serious concerns about food hygiene and the restaurant’s handling of customer complaints.
