Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi spearheaded a high-level delegation to Mumbai on May 3, 2025, to participate in the inaugural WAVES 2025 – World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit at the Jio World Convention Centre.

On the sidelines of WAVES 2025, CM Majhi conducted a series of B2G meetings with leading business executives, reinforcing Odisha’s commitment to industrial expansion and ease of doing business. Key discussions included:
- Tata Steel, Shapoorji Pallonji Group, Waaree Energies, and Indian Rare Earths Ltd. – Reviewing existing projects and exploring further growth avenues.
- Jain Irrigation Ltd. and JSK Aluminium Industries Ltd. – Encouraging investments in agro-processing, irrigation equipment production, and aluminium downstream industries.
- Google Inc. and Canary’s Automation Pvt. Ltd. – Exploring digital governance collaborations, including AI-driven administration, predictive disaster management, and data analytics.
- CASME, Maharashtra – Strengthening MSME cooperation, particularly in food processing and packaging, leveraging Odisha’s abundant raw material resources.
