Fans of Taapsee Pannu’s gripping romantic thriller franchise Haseen Dillruba have a reason to celebrate! Pinkvilla recently shared an exciting update confirming that work on the third instalment of the series has officially begun.
The Haseen Dillruba series, known for its intoxicating blend of romance, suspense, and betrayal, first captured audiences’ hearts with its 2021 release on Netflix. Starring Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey, and Harshvardhan Rane, the film became the most-watched Hindi movie on Netflix that year, reaching the top 10 in 22 countries. Its sequel, Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba, premiered on August 9, 2024, and continued the saga with new twists, introducing Sunny Kaushal to the cast. The sequel’s release further solidified the franchise’s reputation as a must-watch Bollywood thriller series, leaving fans hungry for more.
The confirmation of Haseen Dillruba 3 comes after months of speculation. In August 2024, Taapsee Pannu teased the possibility of a third film during an interview with News18, hinting that the story of Malice—a book that inspired her—could serve as a foundation for the next chapter.
Though the production for Haseen Dillruba 3 has started, specific details about the plot, cast, and release date remain under wraps. Given the franchise’s track record, fans can expect another rollercoaster of emotions, with Taapsee Pannu likely reprising her role as the enigmatic Rani Kashyap.
With Haseen Dillruba 3 now in development, the franchise is poised to further cement its legacy as a trailblazer in Bollywood’s thriller space.
While the production team has yet to announce a release date, the confirmation of the third instalment is enough to keep fans on the edge of their seats. Will Rani Kashyap’s story take an even darker turn? Will Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal return to unravel more layers of suspense? Only time will tell, but one thing is certain: Haseen Dillruba 3 is set to deliver another thrilling chapter in this beloved saga.
Stay tuned for more updates as the project progresses, and in the meantime, fans can revisit the first two films on Netflix to relive the drama, romance, and mystery that made Haseen Dillruba a global sensation.
