The Board of Revenue, Odisha, has entered a new era of digital transformation with the launch of its new website and quarterly journal, formally unveiled by Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari on Thursday.
The initiatives aim to make revenue administration more transparent, accessible, and citizen‑centric, while also serving as a guide for Revenue Courts and field‑level officers. The Minister emphasised that these steps are not just technological upgrades but a new chapter in integrating judicial knowledge and administrative efficiency.
Highlighting the Board’s legacy in land records, rights, and dispute resolution, Pujari announced that new Revenue Revisional Courts will soon be inaugurated in Jajpur, Kendrapada, Baragada, and other districts. He commended the Board for disposing of around 11,000 cases in the last eight months, underscoring its role in expediting justice.
The quarterly journal will feature landmark orders and case decisions on land disputes, mutation, leases, and government land, providing a valuable reference for Tahasildars, Sub‑Collectors, and other officers. Meanwhile, the new website offers a well‑organised digital platform with information on major revenue institutions, including the Commissioner of Land Reforms and Inspector General of Registration.
Officials noted that the journal, previously published annually, has now shifted to a quarterly format due to the surge in case disposals. Together, the website and journal are expected to strengthen Odisha’s revenue administration and enhance consistency in decision‑making.
