The Odisha unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has commenced its crucial two-day State Executive meeting at the local Indoor Stadium in Kataka.
The primary focus of the conclave is to evaluate the party’s current standing in the state, identify areas for grassroots improvement, and draft a comprehensive political roadmap for the future.
Ahead of the main executive session, State BJP President Manmohan Samal chaired a high-level preparatory meeting with key office bearers. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and party co-in-charges were in attendance to deliberate on the initial draft of the political resolution.
The momentum picked up during the afternoon session, which saw the participation of more than 400 dedicated party workers and functionaries. The high-profile gathering boasts a strong presence of the state’s top leadership, including Chief Minister Majhi, the two Deputy Chief Ministers, various cabinet ministers, MPs, MLAs, and veteran party leaders. Adding further weight to the deliberations, National General Secretary Sunil Bansal is also scheduled to participate in the proceedings.
Over the span of two days, the state leadership, elected representatives, and grassroots workers will engage in extensive brainstorming. The core agenda revolves around reviewing the BJP’s current operational status in Odisha, streamlining the party’s working style, and reinforcing the organizational framework. By identifying developmental priorities and addressing operational gaps, the BJP aims to emerge from this conclave with a unified, actionable strategy to navigate Odisha’s evolving political landscape.
