Bhubaneswar: Nine districts in Odisha touched 40 degree Celcius on Thursday with Boudh the hottest at 40.8 degree Celcius followed by Bolangir and Bhubaneswar.
The State Capital recorded temperature at 40.4, Sonepur 40.2, Angul 40.1, Baripada, Titlagarh, Malkangiri and Nayagarh at 40 degree Celcius each.
The Met Office said the heatwave condition will increase for three days in most parts of Odisha. The interior pockets of Odisha will register 2-3 degrees above the normal incoming three days.
Other districts will register 3-4 degrees during the period, the regional Met office has said.
