The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has extended the last date for registration and submission of online applications for the Common Entrance Examination (CEE)–2026.

Candidates can now complete their registration and submit their applications up to 11:55 PM on 7 June 2026.

The extension has been provided to facilitate aspiring candidates who are yet to complete the application process and to ensure wider participation in the entrance examination conducted for admission to various teacher education programmes offered by NCERT’s Regional Institutes of Education.

NCERT has also announced that a Correction Window will be available from 8 June 2026 to 9 June 2026 (up to 11:55 PM). During this period, candidates will be able to review and update their personal details submitted in the online application form. Applicants may log in to the CEE–2026 portal using their credentials and make the necessary corrections while the correction facility remains active.

Candidates who have initiated registration but have not yet submitted their applications are advised to complete the process before the revised deadline. No requests for registration or submission of applications will be entertained after the closing date.

No separate communication regarding the extension of the application deadline or the opening of the Correction Window will be sent individually to candidates. Therefore, applicants are advised to regularly visit the official CEE–2026 portal for updates, notifications, and instructions related to the examination. The official portal for CEE–2026 is cee.ncert.gov.in.
