Former Odisha Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition in the Odisha Legislative Assembly, Naveen Patnaik, visited the Heart Beats Wildlife Charity Exhibition today at Bikaner House, New Delhi.
The event, organised by Padma Bhushan awardee Dr Ramakanta Panda, the founder of the Asian Wildlife Trust and the Asian Heart Institute, unfolded under the theme “Wildlife: Our Shared Future.” It showcased a compelling array of conservation stories, powerful photographs, and initiatives that highlight the essential connection between protecting nature and improving community welfare.
Through captivating exhibits and poignant real-life narratives, the exhibition spotlighted key efforts in wildlife protection, habitat restoration, rescue operations, and animal health, as well as the upliftment of tribal communities through sustainable livelihood programs.
The presence of Chief Minister Patnaik at the exhibition underscores his ongoing commitment to environmental causes, aligning with broader efforts to foster a harmonious balance between human progress and ecological preservation.
