Naveen Patnaik Recovering Well After Surgery, Confirms Brother Prem Patnaik

Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik is recovering steadily after undergoing surgery, according to a reassuring message from his elder brother, Prem Patnaik.


In a video shared with the public, Mr. Patnaik expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Odisha for their outpouring of prayers and good wishes during the former Chief Minister’s treatment.

Shri Naveen Patnaik recently underwent a successful spinal surgery for cervical spondylosis at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. The procedure was performed by renowned cardiac surgeon Dr. Ramakanta Panda and lasted around two hours without complications.

Mr. Prem Patnaik stated that Naveen Patnaik is now in stable condition, fully conscious, and under observation. He lauded the people of Odisha, saying their love and concern were a source of strength during the family’s testing times.

As news of his recovery spreads, the people of Odisha continue to send their wishes, a reflection of the deep respect and connection they share with their leader.
