An MBBS student of MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Odisha’s Brahmapur city has reportedly been missing for three days, prompting a police investigation.
The missing student has been identified as Sagar Sahu, a first‑year MBBS student and a native of Jajpur district. According to reports, Sagar went missing on August 31, and the college authorities lodged a complaint with the Baidyanathpur police after failing to trace him.
Acting on the complaint, police have recovered Sagar’s mobile phone from an area near the Brahmapur railway station, but the student remains untraced.
A probe has been launched to determine his whereabouts, and efforts are underway to track his movements prior to his disappearance. The incident has caused concern among students and faculty at MKCG Medical College.
