A car accident near Shishu Bhavan overbridge in Bhubaneswar has exposed a chilling murder connection, transforming what appeared to be a routine mishap into a sensational crime case.
Police identified the deceased as Satyabrata Pradhan, a taxi driver from Brahmagiri. He had been living in a rented house near Niladri Vihar, Chandrasekharpur. Reports suggest that Satyabrata was attacked late at night and his throat was slit, allegedly by his girlfriend, Liza Bhoi and her associate Dinesh Kandi. Police detained both suspects and initiated questioning. A scientific team examined the crime scene for evidence.
The murder reportedly occurred inside a rented house near Mangala Mandir in Chandrasekharpur. Following the killing, the car owner, along with another driver, attempted to move the vehicle. During the escape, the car plunged off the Shishu Bhavan overbridge, crashing below.
Residents of Kedarapalli slum expressed concern over repeated accidents at the overbridge, calling it a serious traffic hazard. They claimed cars frequently fall from the structure, raising questions about safety measures.
Police are investigating both the murder and accident angles. The shocking revelation has created widespread panic in the capital, as the case now involves a triangular love affair, betrayal, and a violent crime hidden behind a road accident.
