The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, has officially invited applications for the prestigious National Sports Awards 2025.
These awards recognize excellence and lifelong contributions in the field of sports and are conferred annually to outstanding athletes, coaches, and organizations.
The awards include:
- Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award for the most spectacular performance by a sportsperson.
- Arjuna Award for consistent excellence in sports.
- Arjuna Award (Lifetime) for lifetime contributions to sports development.
- Dronacharya Award for coaches who have produced medal winners at international events.
- Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puraskar (RKPP) for corporate entities and NGOs promoting sports.
Eligible applicants must submit their nominations exclusively through the online portal by 11:59 PM on October 28, 2025. The Ministry has made the notification and award guidelines available on its official website .
