To strengthen crime control and ensure quicker emergency response, the Sambalpur Police have introduced 15 new high-tech PCR (Police Control Room) vehicles.

These technologically advanced SUVs, flagged off near the historic Samaleswari Temple, are equipped with GPS tracking systems, VHF communication tools, and 360-degree PTZ cameras for surveillance and evidence collection.

Citizens can now dial 112 for immediate assistance, and the vehicles are strategically deployed across the city’s sectors to reduce response time in emergencies.

Sambalpur SP Mukesh Bhamu emphasized their role in tackling urban policing challenges while maintaining public safety.
