Gaming influencer Kaashvi Hiranandani has issued a public apology following severe online backlash over her remarks about Love Gill and her boyfriend, gaming creator ScoutOP, on Bigg Boss 20.
Appearing during a Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Kaashvi had suggested that Love was “trapping and manipulating” ScoutOP, causing significant outrage among viewers who accused her of unfairly targeting another contestant.
Addressing the controversy via her Instagram story, Kaashvi admitted that her emotions influenced her choice of words.
She clarified that while her initial goal was to hold ScoutOP accountable for his mistakes, her language became insensitive toward Love.
Kaashvi acknowledged that she allowed social media speculation to cloud her judgment and stated she never intended to incite online hate against Love or judge her character.
Extending an apology to those hurt, she noted that it was not her place to dictate anyone’s behaviour on the show.
The fallout has reportedly strained the platonic, sibling-like bond between Love and ScoutOP inside the house, with Love distancing herself following the allegations.
Meanwhile, filmmaker Rohit Shetty, hosting in place of Salman Khan, stepped in to counsel both contestants on maintaining boundaries and staying mindful of how their friendship is perceived on national television.
