The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched a sharp counter-attack on Monday amid an escalating political row over Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge’s controversial remarks regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Taking to social media platform X, the ruling party targeted opposition leaders and political critics with a blunt message: “Sorry to break it to you, all anti-Indian forces, BUT… Modi Kahi Nahi Jaayega (Modi won’t go anywhere).”

The political firestorm began on Sunday during a party event in Patna, Bihar, when Kharge snapped at an audience member who asserted that the Prime Minister would not leave office.
Kharge responded with remarks targeting the Prime Minister’s late father, triggering immediate condemnation from top BJP ministers and widespread street protests across multiple state capitals.
Hitting back at the opposition’s rhetoric, the BJP emphasised that Prime Minister Modi retains the democratic mandate of the Indian electorate.
