Veteran actor Jonathan Joss, best known for voicing John Redcorn in King of the Hill, was tragically shot and killed by his neighbour in San Antonio, Texas, on Sunday.
Authorities identified the suspect as Sigfredo Alvarez-Cega, who was arrested and charged with murder following a citywide search.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, Joss, 59, was involved in a heated verbal altercation with Alvarez-Cega, 37, before the suspect allegedly opened fire. Eyewitnesses reported that Alvarez-Cega fled the scene but was quickly apprehended just a block away.
Emergency responders arrived promptly, but despite their efforts, Joss succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the motive behind the fatal dispute.
