Bhubaneswar: Chancellor of Jagadguru Kripalu University & NRI Dr. Sita Kantha Dash has contributed Rs 25 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to help the Odisha government fight COVID0-19.
Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra on Thursday received the cheque at Lok Seva Bhavan from the President of University Swami Mukundanand and Registrar Madhusudan Mishra.
Dr Dash talked to the Chief Secretary through video call during the presentation of the cheque. Dash is presently the President of America Odia Society.
He hoped that other NRIs will come forward to donate sum to Odisha government which is fighting the deadly coronavirus with a lot of hardships.
The Chief Secretary has thanked Dr Das for his contribution and wished the Jagadguru Kripalu University which is being established in Odisha.
