Bhubaneswar: Odisha Small Industries Corporation Ltd. has contributed Rs 10 lakh to the Odisha Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for strengthening the State’s fight against COVID -19 pandemic.
Presenting the cheque to Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra in Lokseba Bhawan, Chairman of the Odisha Small Industries Corporation (OSIC), Chinmoy Kumar Sahoo said, “Because of the visionary leadership and timely action of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Odisha has done well in containing spread of the pandemic. Today Odisha is comparatively in better position than many neighboring States. Odisha is providing the test, hospitalization and treatment facilities to all Covid infected person free of cost. With people’s participation in observance of the Covid norms, Odisha will be able to give sturdy checkmate to the disease in coming days”.
While complementing the corporation for the contribution, the Chief Secretary urged upon them to follow all guidelines of Covid both at the official and personal levels. Managing Director of the Corporation Pradipta Kumar Sahani accompanied the Chairman on the occasion.
