In a coordinated diplomatic outreach, India has dispatched seven all-party delegations to 33 global capitals as part of Operation Sindoor, aiming to expose Pakistan’s alleged involvement in terrorism and reaffirm India’s zero-tolerance policy toward extremist violence.
The initiative comes in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack and India’s retaliatory Operation Sindoor, which targeted terror infrastructure across the Line of Control. The delegations include members of Parliament from across the political spectrum, senior diplomats, and strategic affairs experts.
Speaking from Abu Dhabi, Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde, who leads the delegation to the UAE, said:
“This is the new normal. India will not tolerate any terrorist activities. If anything happens to our citizens, we will hit back. Enough is enough.”
The UAE delegation includes representatives from BJP, Congress, BJD, AAP, CPI(M), and former diplomats. In Abu Dhabi, they met Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance, and addressed the Indian diaspora, emphasizing the urgency of countering Pakistan’s global narrative.
Bansuri Swaraj, BJP leader and part of the UAE delegation, declared:
“Operation Sindoor has become a symbol of India’s justice, strength, and military resolve. Pakistan chose military escalation instead of joining the world in combating terrorism. If you bring war to our doorstep, we will finish it.”
In Moscow, the delegation led by DMK MP Kanimozhi and SP MP Rajeev Rai is engaging with top Russian officials, including Leonid Slutsky and Deputy Foreign Minister representatives.
Rajeev Rai noted,
“Russia has always stood by India. Today, Pakistan is a danger not only to India but to the world. We are here with evidence to seek global isolation of Pakistan.”
Kanimozhi added that the delegation would also meet with think tanks and Russian media to reinforce India’s stand.
In Japan, the delegation includes MPs from JD(U), BJP, Congress, TMC, CPI(M) and former diplomats. JD(U)’s Sanjay Kumar Jha met ambassadors from Brazil, Australia, South Korea, Colombia, and Greece, calling for a unified stand against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.
BJP MP Hemang Joshi stated:
“We are here with one mission: to unite the world in India’s fight against terrorism.”
Former External Affairs Minister and Congress leader Salman Khurshid, also part of the Japan delegation, acknowledged the broad international support:
“The response has been very satisfying. We’re now focused on identifying the next steps that are viable and strategic.”
Despite internal political differences, the delegations are presenting a unified front abroad. BJD MP Sasmit Patra said,
“This is a new India. We may differ politically at home, but when it comes to terrorism, we speak in one voice—India.”
This global outreach follows India’s successful execution of Operation Sindoor, which reportedly neutralized nine terror camps. The outreach is designed to bolster diplomatic pressure on Islamabad, counter its global narrative, and build international consensus against state-sponsored terrorism.
