The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has unveiled updates to the 2025 international home season schedule, introducing key venue shifts for Test, ODI, and T20I matches.
Among the major changes, the much-anticipated 2nd Test against the West Indies has been relocated from Kolkata’s Eden Gardens to the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. Conversely, the 1st Test against South Africa, initially slated for Delhi, will now take place at Eden Gardens.
The revamp also extends to the women’s ODI series against Australia, with matches originally planned for Chennai now being moved to Chandigarh and Delhi due to pitch and outfield renovations at MA Chidambaram Stadium.
Additionally, modifications have been made to South Africa A’s tour of India, shifting the one-day matches from M. Chinnaswamy Stadium to Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. The international season will commence with India facing West Indies in a Test match in Ahmedabad on October 2, 2025.
