Sources indicate that the meeting assessed India’s security posture following Pakistan’s attacks on multiple locations in India. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, in a briefing, described Pakistan’s actions as “provocative” and “escalatory,” stressing that India remains committed to safeguarding its national interests.
India has strongly rejected Pakistan’s misinformation campaign, which falsely claimed the destruction of key Indian military assets. Reports suggest heightened activity along the Line of Control (LoC), with Pakistan attempting aerial intrusions using drones and conducting heavy artillery shelling.
With tensions mounting, India’s top security officials are formulating strategies to ensure national security and maintain stability in the region. The government remains firm in its stance, reinforcing its defence preparedness while urging the global community to take note of Pakistan’s aggressive manoeuvres.
