IIT Bhubaneswar announced the launch of a Blended-Mode M.Tech Programme in Electric Vehicle Technology on May 29, 2026, developed in collaboration with evACAD, a clean energy-focused education and skilling platform.
The programme aims to equip industry professionals with advanced expertise in EV systems, battery technology, charging infrastructure, and vehicle integration while allowing them to continue their careers. Admission does not require a GATE qualification; selection will be based on academic background and professional experience.
The curriculum covers vehicle design, powertrain development, control systems, battery design and diagnostics, charging technologies, and infrastructure. The blended structure combines weekend live online classes, self-paced learning, hands-on projects, industry case studies, and campus immersion at IIT Bhubaneswar.
