The controversy surrounding the death of the renowned and popular singer Humane Sagar refuses to die down.
On Friday, Koshal organisations lodged a formal complaint at Balangir Town Police Station against his two managers, Dinesh Behera and Prashant Behera.
According to the complaint, the managers allegedly forced Humane to perform stage shows despite his poor health. They also reportedly misbehaved with his mother when she raised objections. The organisations demanded their immediate arrest and called for a thorough investigation into the matter.
Members of Koshal organisations and other socio-cultural groups joined in pressing for further inquiry. A delegation led by Koshal leader Achyut Sipun Khamari, Balangir Action Committee’s Binod Kalsai, and Govind Satapathy submitted a written petition at the Town Police Station.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, a team from the Western Odisha Youth Forum, headed by its president Ajit Mishra, met Humane’s mother in Titilagarh. They expressed condolences and discussed the allegations of misconduct by the singer’s managers. The forum also demanded strict action against those responsible.
