Bhubaneswar: “Give me only 30 minutes, and I will tell you everything… I was waiting for the ED investigation… Now I will tell you everything”. These were the words of arrested lady blackmailer Archana Nag to media persons outside Capital Hospital premises while being taken on remand by the Enforcement Directorate. However, Archana is said to be staying mum to the questions of the ED.
According to information received from ED officers, despite interrogation for 5 consecutive days, Archana is yet to cooperate with the investigation. Even the ED officers are shocked by such double-standard behaviour of Archana.
So far, Archana is only answering to the questions related to financial transactions with some persons whom the ED had interrogated earlier. However, she is still tight-lipped about her unaccounted wealth, and lavish lifestyle, the ED officials said.
Similarly, she is also not agreeing to answer the questions about Akshay Parija, Pramod Swain and Shraddhanjali, they added.
While Archana’s remand period will be over on 12th December and the ED is yet to elicit any information from the lady blackmailer, the investigating agency is likely to pray the court to extend her remand period.
In the meanwhile on Saturday, an Assistant Director of ED this afternoon met Kandagiri Police Station IIC Dayanidhi Nayak and received all the case-related documents and evidence in the honeytrap case.
