Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre in Bhubaneswar has issued heavy to very heavy rainfall warning for 18 districts.
The Met Centre has issued Yellow Warning for the districts of Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Bolangir, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sonepur, Boudh, Angul, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Koraput, Malkangiri, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur and Puri districts till Tuesday 8.30 am.
“Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar and heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Bolangir, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sonepur, Boudh, Angul, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Koraput, Malkangiri, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur and Puri,” the IMD bulletin read.
Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at most places over the districts of interior Odisha and many places over the districts of coastal Odisha, the weather forecast said.
