New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR) has opened a correction window for the GATE 2025 application on October 31, 2024, accessible through the official website. Candidates wishing to make changes to their applications may do so by visiting gate2025.iitr.ac.in before the deadline of November 6, 2024.
For GATE 2025, the application fee is Rs. 900 for female, SC, ST, and PwD candidates, and Rs. 1800 for all other candidates, including foreign nationals.
The original deadline to submit the application was October 3, with a late submission deadline of October 7, which included an increased fee of Rs. 1400 for female, SC, ST, and PwD candidates, and Rs. 2300 for all other candidates.

The GATE exam, conducted at the national level, evaluates the understanding of undergraduate subjects in engineering, technology, and architecture, among others. This year, IIT Roorkee is hosting GATE 2025, set to be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) format this February. Mock test links have been made available for candidates to familiarize themselves with the CBT interface.
The admit card for GATE 2025 is anticipated to be issued in January, and the exam is slated for the 1st, 2nd, 15th, and 16th of February 2025.
