Ganjam: Man Succumbs to Injuries After Suspected Enmity Turns Violent

A man named Sumant Mohapatra was fatally attacked in Sama village, under the Purushottampur police limits in Odisha’s Ganjam district.


The late-night attack, believed to be the result of past enmity, occurred while Mohapatra was returning home.

Despite immediate efforts to save him, Mohapatra succumbed to his injuries at MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur. Local authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, as family members and residents call for justice.

This tragic event has raised concerns about safety and recurring conflicts within the region. Police are actively working to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.
