A full emergency was declared at Indira Gandhi International Airport on Saturday after a Delhi-bound flight operated by IndiGo made a precautionary emergency landing following an engine-related issue.
The flight, identified as 6E 579, was travelling from Visakhapatnam to Delhi when a technical snag was detected shortly before landing.

According to airport officials, the emergency was declared at approximately 10:39 am after pilots reported an engine failure. The aircraft, a Boeing 737, landed safely at around 10:54 am following standard safety procedures.
