A recent meeting between TMC leaders and the Election Commission ended in a tense exchange. While TMC representatives claimed they were not given adequate time to present concerns, the Commission stated that disruptions occurred during the discussion.
Large-Scale Administrative Changes
To strengthen election preparedness, the Election Commission has transferred over 400 officials, including senior administrative and police personnel. The move aims to prevent bias and ensure smooth conduct of polls.
