Purnia: As many as eight people were killed after the vehicle they were travelling in fell into a pond in Bihar’s Purnia district late last night.
According to reports, the incident occurred when the victims were en route to Kishanganj from Tarabadi.
While two people were safely rescued, eight others died on the spot.
Police have registered a case and launched a probe into the incident, said sources.
