New Delhi: In view of the importance of all roadways and transportation projects for the overall development of Odisha, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday met with Union Minister Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari.
Pradhan sought Gadkari’s intervention to speed up Coastal Highway, Cuttack-Angul-Sambalpur NH 55 and other NHs in Odisha.
“Today met Union Minister Nitin Gadkar and sought his personal intervention in speeding up delayed construction work on four key highway projects in Odisha–Costal highway from Rameshwar to Digha, capital region ring road, Paradip-Barbil economic corridor & NH-55 from Cuttack to Sambalpur via Angul,” said Pradhan in a release.
“We also discussed the status of various ongoing developmental projects in Odisha. Union Minister Gadkari has assured all necessary support and co-operation to ensure expeditious completion,” Pradhan added.
