Due to the construction of the Air Concourse and other safety-related modernization works at Cuttack Railway Station, located in the Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway, three long-distance trains will be temporarily diverted for one month.

These trains will now operate via the Barang-Naraj Marthapur-Kapilas Road route instead of the original Barang-Cuttack-Kapilas Road. As a result, these trains will not stop at Cuttack Station, but there will be a temporary stoppage at Naraj Marthapur Railway Station from February 16 to March 17, 2025.

The Khurda Road Division of the East Coast Railway will offer free bus service between Cuttack Railway Station and Naraj Marthapur Railway Station for passengers affected by these changes.

The following trains will be temporarily diverted:

1. Coimbatore-Silchar Weekly Super-Fast Express, arriving at Naraj Marthapur on Tuesdays (late night on Mondays) from February 16 to March 16, 2025.

2. Ernakulam-Patna Bi-Weekly Express, arriving at Naraj Marthapur on Wednesdays and Thursdays (late night on Tuesdays and Wednesdays).

3. Bengaluru-Guwahati Tri-Weekly Express, arriving at Naraj Marthapur on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (late night on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays).

Passengers planning to board or alight at Cuttack Railway Station for these trains will have access to free bus service between Naraj Marthapur and Cuttack Railway Stations in both directions during this period.
