Jharsuguda: The authorities of Alliance Airlines have suspended the Raipur-Jharsuguda flight in view of the rising number of coronavirus.
The flight service was cancelled as very few passengers were not opting for air travel to Chhattisgarh due to high incidences of coronavirus cases. The passengers from Raipur are also not preferring to come to Jharsuguda.
Alliance Airlines has cancelled the flight service, Jharsuguda Airport Director Kishore Senapati said. He said more flights from the airport will stand cancelled if the coronavirus situation becomes serious further, he added.
The district administration has sealed the borders to discourage visitors from Chhattisgarh.
